I really enjoyed this book up until the final 30 pages or so. This is a book about a mental illness, queerness, and death. The protagonist has significant health anxiety and often gets stuck in rumination cycles focused on death. She accidentally gets hired as the receptionist at a Catholic Church, which she accepts because she needs the money, despite being a lesbian. The dishonesty compounds until the situation spirals wildly out of control.
