The Thursday Murder Club

I got this book from my mom — I read the entire thing while trapped in the O’Hare airport during the Crowdstrike global delay.

This was a fun read and I was invested until the end, which I admit I found a bit disappointing. The murder mystery club in a retirement village was a fun take on the mystery genre, though some of the leaps felt too far-fetched and it took me out of the story. There are more books in this series as well as a new TV series, though I’m not sure I feel attached enough to the story to engage with either one.
